These blue screens are caused by quick stop on motion that are within the camera field of view. Turning pre and post recoding will stop this issue. Pre recording will leave the DVR consistently recording but only generate a file once the motion is triggered, in this case you will have a 10sec pre recording Post recording is a feature that once the motion has a stopped the recording will continue depending on the set time.
