Summary
Depending on your current system Specifications and Network Environment, you will want to make certain connection depending on your connection Requirements when connecting certain devices to the IP Decoder Box. Good System performances means your system does not use more than 70% CPU Utilization at any time.
Generalizations
if using an IP Device (IP Camera, Video Server, Compact DVR), connect those cameras directly to the IP Decoder box through the GV IP Device Utility
if you need to decrease the amount of simultaneous connections to your IP Cameras, you can connect to GV-Recording Server if you have a GV-USB Dongle
If using Analog Cameras, configure GV-Mobile Server and ensure your system meets the minimum or Advanced System Requirements as specified in the GV-Mobile Server User Manual. Make sure the system does not use more than 70% CPU at any time.
If Fisheye Dewarping or Matrix is desired, configure GV-Mobile Server and ensure your system meets the minimum or Advanced System Requirements as specified in the GV-Mobile Server User Manual. Make sure the system does not use more than 70% CPU at any time.
