I D N - ACME INC

IDN quietly began out of a desire to protect two families in the event of untimely deaths. In the early 1970s, Al Hoffman and Virl Mullins, both second-generation owner-operators, found themselves in businesses that traditionally needed to be liquidated when the owner passed away as there were few buyers for small family-owned distribution businesses.  They set a simple goal for themselves: build an enterprise that would outlast their own family businesses.  Through acquisitions, they set up a network of owner-operated distributors across North America, thus began the company known as IDN Global, Inc.
