In general, GV-NVR can connect up to 32 channels of IP devices. However, frame rate limitation applies to different resolutions.
Maximum channels possible without exceeding memory limit:
Windows 32bit OS
- (CIF) 320x240: 32CH
- (VGA) 640x480: 32CH
- (1.3M) 1280x1024: 32CH
- (2M) 1920x1080: 31CH
- (3M) 2048x1536: 23CH
- (4M) 2560x1600: 16CH
- (5M) 2560x1920: 16CH
Windows 64bit OS - (CIF) 320x240: 32CH
- (VGA) 640x480: 32CH
- (1.3M) 1280x1024: 32CH
- (2M) 1920x1080: 32CH
- (3M) 2048x1536: 32CH
- (4M) 2560x1600: 32CH
- (5M) 2560x1920: 32CH
Note: Maximum channel numbers stated above may require lowering frame rate for each camera (see frame rate limit below). All tests are performed in a pure LAN and Windows environment based on Intel i7 CPU with 8GB RAM on Windows 7 64bit OS.
Maximum frame rate per system:
v8.5 Multicam
- (CIF) 320x240: 960 FPS
- (VGA) 640x480: 960 FPS
- (1.3M) 1280x1024: 480 FPS
- (2M) 1920x1080: 330 FPS
- (3M) 2048x1536: 210 FPS
- (4M) 2560x1600: 170 FPS
- (5M) 2560x1920: 150 FPS
v8.5 Multicam + SandyBridge GPU - (CIF) 320x240: 960 FPS
- (VGA) 640x480: 960 FPS
- (1.3M) 1280x1024: 840 FPS
- (2M) 1920x1080: 600 FPS
- (3M) 2048x1536: 210 FPS
- (4M) 2560x1600: 170 FPS
- (5M) 2560x1920: 150 FPS
