Today Oklahoma has a diverse economy with sectors in energy, government, technology and health care. The top employers in the city are the State of Oklahoma and Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. There are two Fortune 500 companies with headquarters in the city: Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Devon Energy Corporation. Oklahoma is a center for Oklahoma state government and history. The Oklahoma History Center and the Oklahoma Historical Society are both located in Oklahoma City.
